With the Prada x adidas collaboration set to drop soon and a Dior x Nike collection allegedly launching next year, the line between high fashion and sneakers is blurrier than ever. with that said, we’re taking this opportunity to discuss the rumoured collabs that could become the real deal very soon, as well as a few that we’d love to see in the near future.

adidas
Kicking it all off, we’re beyond hyped to see the Prada x adidas collab that has now been officially confirmed. Not that much is known about it but according to multiple sources, it’s not going to be a one-off partnership. In fact, Pradidas is going to be a long-term thing, starting off with two silhouettes in December, both of which are made by the famed fashion house in their Italian factories. This is a match made in heaven and we couldn’t have chosen a better high fashion brand for adidas.
ASICS
Next stop, we’d love it if an Off-White x ASICS collab could be a thing. While Virgil Abloh is still working with Nike on a ton of new projects every month, if he were to ever part ways with the Beaverton brand, ASICS would be perfect for him. Not only do they put high quality craftsmanship at the forefront of their designs, the Louis Vuitton artistic director also adores all-things Japanese, so this would be the perfect way to express his love.
Converse
We know, Nike owns Converse but that just makes a Louis Vuitton x Converse collab even more obvious. Hvorfor? because Virgil Abloh already works with Nike, and he’s been the Artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection since March. just think of a Chuch Taylor with the LV monogram printed throughout or even a Jack Purcell done up in Abloh’s unique transparent plastic that he’s been using on his latest LV bags. Fuldkommenhed.
Crocs
A Balenciaga x Crocs collab really isn’t as ridiculous as it sounds. In fact, they already teamed up for an extremely limited capsule back in 2017, but just think of a full collection. Crocs’ dadcore vibe would perfectly complement models like the Triple S and the Track. and while you’re thinking of that, think of the famous clogs with an ultra chunky and intricately design midsole. While it may sound weird on paper, it’ll 100% work.
Ny balance
NB has always placed a substantial emphasis on high quality materials, and if there’s one brand that’s been consistent with this ethos it’s Hermes, that’s why a Hermes x new balance collab would be like peaches and cream. With skins like Box Calf, Clemence, Epsom, and Togo, just the thought of these on a pair of sneakers is making our mouths water uncontrollably.
Nike
According to the rumour mill, a Dior x Nike collab is indeed in the works as we speak. A partnership that was first rumoured all the way back in 2017 when then-Artistic Director Kris Van Assche teased it on Instagram, it looks like it’s finally going to make its debut through an ultra exclusive Air Jordan 1. Allegedly priced at an eye-watering $2,000, it could pay homage to the French house’s own B23 Hi Top, but only time will tell.
PUMA
PUMA has been making waves this year, and what better way is there to celebrate this than a Chanel x PUMA collab? While this may sound kinda strange, when you think about it, it’s a partnership that’ll definitely work wonders. In fact, Karl Lagerfeld x PUMA is already a thing, and what was the German fashion designer known mostly as? That’s right, the creative director of Chanel. Make it happen, guys.
Reebok
While Reebok is owned by adidas, it’s quintessentially British, making a Burberry x Reebok collab extremely believable. known mostly for their sporting silhouettes, models like the Daytona DMX and Instapump Fury would be optimal for the British luxury fashion house. To add to this, their iconic checkerboard print would complement Reebok’s apparel perfectly.
Vans
Both known for their rebellious attitude in their respective fields, a Vans x Gucci collab is just meant to be. born and raised in Anaheim, California, just think of the Italian brand’s snake motif on a pair of Old Skools or Sk8-His. Decked out in extremely premium leather, a collaboration like this would turn the skatewear industry on it’s head, and we’d love to see this happen.
